Description:
Fifty works from Futurism to contemporary creativity showcased within the Royal Apartments of MUSA – Museums of the Reggia di Portici: from October 25, 2025, to April 12, 2026, the exhibition «NOISMI. FOR A FUTURE WITHOUT ISMS», curated by Michele Citro, invites the public into an unprecedented dialogue.
Across sixteen rooms, the exhibition features medium and large-scale works, flanking masterpieces by historical masters such as Umberto Boccioni, Leoncillo Leonardi, Mario Schifano, Tano Festa, and Vettor Pisani.
The exhibition does not merely celebrate Futurism; it analyzes its impact through a critical and constructive lens. This intergenerational confrontation reveals the continuities, ruptures, and reinterpretations inspired by Futurist aesthetic principles. The objective is to offer visitors a new perspective, demonstrating how the diverse souls of Futurism remain surprisingly relevant – from traditional art forms to digital art and Artificial Intelligence – with the national premiere of the project "UNCOMFORTABLE" by MiTch Laurenzana.
The Director of MUSA, Professor Stefano Mazzoleni, states:
