SCRIBBLES

The SCRIBBLES project represents an incursion of urban design into the territory of memory, elevating those instinctive marks that once filled the margins of our journals into true works of art. Here, the "scribble" is not viewed as a mistake, but as a symbol of pure leisure and a connection to our younger selves - a moment of freedom reclaimed from duty. Mitch enters this dialogue with a transformative approach, breathing new life into the essence of expression through a surprising combination of materials. Antique frames, often reclaimed and repainted, define the boundaries of a world where synthetic glass and paints layer together to give form to spontaneous thoughts.

These pieces act as a demystification of daily life, pushing beyond the boundaries of traditional painting to examine the "social skin" of the individual. Hidden messages and introspective provocations invite the observer to immerse themselves in a play of reflection and smiles, rooted in the concept of "thinking out loud." The creative journey of SCRIBBLES suggests that we can find value even in states of disorder, turning the chaos of intellectual stimuli into an opportunity for growth and awareness.
In this spirit, SCRIBBLES breaks drastically from the rigor of previous works in Calce del Brenta. While those productions celebrate the solemnity of historical matter, this new vision is born to democratize art: an evolution that tears down the barriers of elitism, giving life to dynamic creations that are, finally, within everyone's reach.
