"The Belly of the Dichotomy", part of the 'CUORIDIPIETRA' collection, explores the blurred boundaries between passion and obsession, prompting a reflection on the delicate balance between personal desire and human connection. The figure of a man "pregnant" with his passion is a striking visual metaphor: his distended belly, marked by time, serves as a poignant reminder of the consuming nature of unchecked ambition.
This work invites us to consider the cost of obsessive pursuits and the vital need for harmony within our relationships. The title underscores the core contradiction of passion - a force capable of giving life, yet destined to consume it.
