SUPERIOR is a visual inquiry into the illusion of the self. The work explores the fine line between competence and perception, drawing inspiration from the Dunning-Kruger effect: that cognitive short-circuit where inexperience breeds presumption, while true talent often retreats into doubt.
In an era crowded with "saints without niches," this piece serves as a critical mirror. It questions our true stature: are we self-aware giants, or merely figures occupying spaces that do not belong to us?
The very structure of SUPERIOR invites us to transcend these distortions through the only possible solution: an openness to doubt. It is only within the space of the question that the individual finds their authentic niche, transforming the claim of superiority into a genuine evolution of consciousness. A necessary reflection to strip away modern superstructures and return to an unmasked, complex, and authentic humanity.
