SOLITUDINI DIGITALI (Digital Solitudes), part of the CUORIDIPIETRA collection, is a work that invites us to reflect on the role of new technologies in our lives and the growing difficulty of building authentic emotional connections in an era dominated by curated, "perfect" imagery. It serves as a warning against being deceived by appearances, urging us to rediscover the profound value of our shared humanity.
The figure, isolated within its own virtual world, appears to be seeking refuge from reality. The screen - intended as a tool for connection - instead encases the subject in a bubble of artificial perfection. This piece speaks of loneliness, fear, and the inherent longing to belong. It is a profound invitation to overcome our insecurities and to once again open our hearts to others.
